S.E.X

This is one of the things that I am surprised is still taboo to speak about. i do not understand why it has such negative connotations attached to it. Sex is a beautiful and satisfying thing, if done right. We are in 2010 the year of the supposed Apocalypse yet people are still to shy to even say the word SEX.

So what this means is that we as the human race are ready to die for whatever the hell it was Adam and Eve did way back when but a 3 letter word is considered dirty and evil. Parents I know that it is kinda awkward speaking to your child about it but if all else fails there are lots of books on the market that help your child espescially you daughters have good sexual experiece by knowing their own bodies.

Many of you might say by giving your teenage daughter the information on a platter is like giving her permission to have sex. NO its giving her the opportunity to not walk the same path you did and and be unprepared, dissapointed and unsatisfied.

The age at which people are starting to have intercourse is becoming younger every year, adoption agencies are faced with finding homes for unwanted babiesof 11 year old teens,that were not raped but had consetual sex. They are so "big" yet they still believe they can get pregnant after the first time. Many of us choose to leave it up to the schools. Well its not quite their responsibility and honestly hearing it from your friends is not quite the same.

My first sexual experience was a rape. my second I was pregnant. Almose 7 years later I am only working through the issues now and its having trmendous strain on my sex life with my current partner. So dont think that educating your kids is being a bad parent and giving them permission to have intercouse. think of it as preparing them for a better life.

At the end of the day although we dont want to know it (i no i dont) alot about love  life and everything else revolves around sex

U Time

Ladies we often so busy with everything and everyone else that we totally forget about ourselves. If we you have kids you know that its hard to just do something for yourself without thinking thrice. I always make sure that at the end of each month or at the beginning of each paycheck i pay myself. I'm not talking about the pay yourself savings, although this too is very important. What i mean is do something that you want to do and do it alone. 

When i say alone this means with no husband, no boyfriend\girlfriend, no children. If you wanna include your BFF's that's okay, but nobody who will make YOUR day into a stressfull occasion. dont feel quilty about it, you work damn hard throughout the month, wether you work at home or office, make some you time its the best thing to keep you sane.

Me and my girls uses to go for brunch at the end of each month, but when work didnt allow us to have the time we would do a little get together in the cafeteria or have a mini shoping spree during our lunch break. Times are tuff so what we do is set a limit so we each give a partner the amount of money we are going to spend and we not allowed to take anything else with so that we can stay within budget. 

for those of us who stayed in the same area we'd have a get together on our off day or on the weekend. what I have experienced with a friend of mine is that she doesnt think she can go out weekends, even for a few hours because both she and her husband works and weekends are the only time he gets to see his friends. 

I'm no feminist but the days of submisve woman have passed with moses, arrange that he have his boy time saterday perhaps, watch the game, hang with the boys. you can take this time to prep your sunday lunch so that Sunday you can have a relaxing day with the girls. 

BUTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there is one condition to his and her U Time.

NO SPENDING THE DAY MOANING ABOUT YOUR PARTNER!!!!!!!!! try it

Love

I wanna know if love is as complicated for all of you as it is for me. I have had many unsuccessful relationships and at the end of most of them I'm not all broken and falling apart etc. So I wonder, was I just not in love or am I just an expert in hiding my feelings?

At the moment I'm in a relationship, that is so complicated I don't even know how to list it on Facebook.

Sometimes we forget that love is not just between two lovers but the love that we have for our friends and family. Yesterday i was very disturbed by something someone in my family said. She said "I have such a wonderful family who I love so much, I just wish they thought the same about me." That got me thinking, since when has it become okay to put a boyfriend\girlfriend before our brothers, sisters, cousins etc.

Personally I have always had an issure with love. Family love that is. My family has always been pretty unconventional and I never made a seceret about the fact that I would not fall into the madness that was my family. I always kept myself towards myself when it came to them. now that I'm a bit older and I'm paying attention I can say with certainty that my family situation is far beyond messed up.
I mentioned at the begining of this post that I don't feel bad for not feeling bad when a relationship ends, I had this attitude with my family as well and only recently I saw what the meaning of blood is thicker than water means. I have made a decision to fight for my family and be a part of it, its never to late to love.

when it comes to men however that is a totally different story but i think the same priciple applies, never give up because it's never to late to love.

Life

Life is probably the most complicated thing that happens to all of us, as woman we give life and we live life. My personal opinion and Iv been saying this for quite a while now is that life is a journey, its a journey to nowhere in particular its just one long road trip that presents us wit an opportunity to experience things. Depending on what you make of it, life can either F!ck you or you can live it up like its golden.

When we are born our parents have great expectations for us. Being a mother now myself I realise that it's okay not to be sure and not to go with the norm. When I was younger my mom was determined to make me lawyer, come hell or high water. Did I end up doing that?No. Did I spend the whole of my life striving to become what my mother wanted?Yes.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not encouraging the world to rebel against their parents, just simply to know where you going and don't be afraid speak up about what you want for your future.

A lot of people always say that you should do something that makes you happy. When I hear these things being said on talk shows etc and I always used to thing to myself. Yeah right Miss Oprah easy for you to say, do a job that makes you happy blah blah blah...we normal folk do any job that makes our bank balance happy. Lately I have to agree with that theory though, dont be afraid to do what you love, you will excell in what you do, you will be motivated to go to work, you will be more productive. You will have a LIFE.
